We are pleased to inform you that our school has been invited to participate in the GREEN Olympiad 2025–26, a prestigious national-level examination organized by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) since 1999. This Olympiad aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices among school students and is endorsed by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Key Details of the Olympiad:
🔹 Eligible Classes: Students from Classes 4 to 12
🔹 Exam Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
🔹 Themes: Environment, Sustainable Development, Green Skills, Mission LiFE
🔹 Olympiad Dates:
- 08 October 2025 or
🔹 Registration Fee: ₹250/- per student
🔹 Registration Deadline: 31 July 2025
🔹 Mode of Registration:
- Online: https://www.teri-greenolympiad.com
- Offline: Through school (forms available in library/exam dept.)
🔹 Awards & Certificates:
- Participation certificates for all
- Merit, Distinction & Medals for school toppers
- Cash prizes up to ₹10 lakhs for top performers
- Schools can also compete for the ‘Sustainability Excellence Award’ with additional prizes worth ₹2.25 lakhs.
We encourage all students to participate in this meaningful and enriching Olympiad, which aligns with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Mission LiFE. It is an excellent opportunity to enhance students’ knowledge of environmental issues and build their academic portfolios.
