Class 6
1.
Read any two storybooks from the school library or your personal collection.
2. Draw a scene or character from your
favorite story.
3.
Write 5 new words you learned and use each in a sentence.
Class 7
1.
Read any one fiction and one non-fiction book.
2. Write a short summary (80–100 words) of
each book.
3.
Create a mini-dictionary of 10 new words with meanings and synonyms.
Class 8
1.
Read one biography/autobiography (e.g., of a famous leader or scientist).
2. Write a book review (150 words): What
you liked/disliked and why.
3.
Prepare a “Book Talk” – write key points you'd share to recommend the book to a
friend.
Class 9
1.
Read one classic novel (e.g., Gulliver’s
Travels, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,
etc.)
2. Write a character sketch of the main
character.
3.
Design a creative book cover with a new title and your own artwork.
Class 10
1.
Read one motivational/self-help book (e.g., Wings
of Fire, The 7 Habits of Highly
Effective Teens).
2. Write a reflective paragraph on how the
book inspired you (150–200 words).
3.
Create a bookmark with a quote from the book and a short explanation of its
meaning.
Class 11
1.
Read a novel/play/poetry collection from Indian or world literature.
2. Write a comparative analysis between
this book and another you’ve read earlier.
3.
Share a personal takeaway or learning from the book in about 200 words.
Class 12
1.
Read any book related to your stream (Science, Commerce, Humanities).
2. Write a research-based reflection on how
the book connects to real-world issues or your subject.
3.
Prepare a digital or handmade poster summarizing the book's theme and key
points.
